Data collection app
Commercial use of the Check Trees portal is enabled by the CheckTrees client application for iOS tablets. The app works offline and can be downloaded for free from the official App Store. Subsequent publication of collected data on the industry portal is possible after purchasing a credit.
The app is free to download and use. Data export, print reports and data publication are available after data release in the form of deduction of paid credit. The first time a tree or tree group is released by an arboricultural account, 2 units of credit are deducted. Repeated releases of a tree or a tree group by the same arboriscultural acccount will result in a deduction of 1 unit of credit. If an arboricultural account has not released a particular tree yet, the first relase will cost 2 units of credit, even if the same tree had been released by another arbiricultural account earlier. Price of 1 unit of credit is 1,2 EUR (1,2 GBP) excluding VAT in EU and 1,2 USD for the rest of the world.
